Auditions: Wednesday, September 2
Audition requirements:
Please sign up for an audition time, on Wednesday, September 2 (or Friday, August 28 if you prefer). Friday's auditions will be in HN (Hunter North) Room 414 from 4-5pm (later by request), and Wednesday will be from 6:10 in Brecher Hall (also in Hunter North - there will be directions). Please sign up next to an adjacent.
The sign-up sheet is posted opposite the Music Office (416 North), on the door of Tony Sbordoni, our orchestra manager, in 420 North.
What to play (in Fall '09 auditions):
Please play a piece you are comfortable with, and prepare two pages of the piece. If there is some contrast between high/low, fast/slow, and it shows different technical aspects, so much the better. It will be a solo audition, so no accompaniment is required.
When you arrive
The auditions will be in Brecher, and there will be directions at the music office.
We'll have a form you'll need to fill out (name, contact details).
